Asim Khan, a Fellow Chartered Accountant with more than 30 years of experience in investments and finance, is the CEO of Khalij Group (United Kingdom) one of the leading Islamic investment and advisory conglomerates, with assets under advisory in excess of USD 4 billion.

He has won various accolades including “Global Islamic Finance Leadership Award” and also the prestigious “Avicenna Medal” in recognition of his services to Islamic Finance. He is also included in the ‘Power 100’  as one of the most influential British Pakistanis in the United Kingdom.

Due to his decades of expertise in investment banking and Islamic finance, Asim serves as technical member on various Shari’a Boards to review and approve Shari’a compliant investment structures and products.

Asim is a regular speaker on Islamic finance and continues to speak at various events and forums, including Islamic finance conferences, events, and training and also appears on television for various UK, European and Asian TV channels. Asim also holds an honorary doctorate in comparative religion.
